Mule Back Rack

The MBR series provides mounting plates running the length of the tubes for versatility in adjustability of mounting bikes and/or many of your other favorite accessories. Perfect for that solid and exceedingly stable, yet simple to use bike carrier system. The MBR is modular, bikes, cargo boxes, ski systems and many more can be mounted to the MBR product. You can mount the bikes lower for fast bike loading and unloading or move it up to avoid items mounted to the drivers side rear door. The mule back series of racks from JERK Engineered Products are all designed by engineers. These systems are all TIG welded aluminum tube for weight savings, and ultimate strength for your cargo. 

We have applied engineering design to the geometry and strength calculations, and with an innovative design (patent pending) have created a system that does not piggy-back off of the hinges of the van, therefore there is no need to force the use of only 180-degree hinges to mount your rear systems to your van any longer.

Parts in your MBR kit: the MBR (Rack), black oxide stainless hardware, 1 mount (2 arms) (for bicycle mount systems) square or round, 14” or 22” your choice. (Bike tray system not included - use your favorite brand)

Note: Rear door should be closed carefully/purposely, with a firm, controlled closure.
