X Rack with Climber

The X Rack with Climber is one of the most popular products added to any adventure rig! This product brings functionality and that perfect look to complete your van build.  

This is a takeoff of the Swing Away X Rack Wheel Carrier with full Ladder  (XRSFL) - where the wheel carrier swings away, exposing a full ladder for your use. We call this a climber as it’s not classically a ladder but helps you climb to access items on the roof if your rig. 

The X series of racks from JERK Engineered Products are all designed by engineers. These systems are all TIG welded aluminum tube for weight savings, and ultimate strength for you and your cargo. 

We have applied engineering design in the geometry and strength calculations, and with innovative structural hinge brackets (patent pending) have created a system that does not piggy-back off of the hinges of the van, therefore there is no need to force the use of only 180-degree hinges to mount your rear systems to your van any longer.

The XRC as will all of the JERK Engineered Products line of rear mounted system, is engineered to serve you on the toughest terrain and harshest places you may travel to.

Be assured, the installation of this unit is simple for all to do. Note again that there is  no need to change out hinges ever, you keep your original hinges, which are panted the color of your van!
